After the first year, you must get your vehicle inspected and serviced every six months. If you do not, the warranty will be void. Your safety and security are a priority to IDS and servicing your vehicle is an important piece of keeping your vehicle in good working order.
Remember to maintain your vehicle and any other conversion work that has been done to your vehicle according to the applicable warranties.

How Do You Get Service?

Transport the vehicle in which the equipment is installed to the nearest IDS Dealer. To find the location of the nearest IDS dealer authorized to provide repairs or maintenance contact IDS Sales Department at 713-864-1460. The IDS dealer must then contact IDS to obtain Return Authorization before removing any equipment from your vehicle and shipping it to IDS. Once the return authorization has been issued a technician trained in the installation and maintenance of IDS equipment may remove the equipment from your vehicle and ship it to IDS.
If necessary, use all reasonable means to protect the equipment from further damage once any problem becomes apparent until it is delivered.

Shipping the equipment will be at your expense. IDS will not accept any equipment unless they have issued the Return Authorization.
To be effective, IDS must receive written notice of any defect in the equipment within the applicable warranty period.

Does My IDS Dealer Have any Responsibilities?

Your Dealer is responsible for proper, safe packaging of the equipment if it is to be returned to our manufacturing center. The equipment must be packaged carefully in protective packaging.  IDS will not accept responsibility for equipment that is damaged in transit because of faulty packaging.
